Evanescenced

Today I browsed through a tutorial on how to make a seamless starscape.  I've seen space images all over the place and wonderd how they got the stars in the background.  So I quickly went through the tutorial. At the end of it I had a nice large image with a lot of stars and not much else.  So I experimented and made a nebulous cloud, and finally decided to add a planet. I think it turned out well. It's in my gallery and titled My First Spacescape if you want to take a peek.

Just uploading around 6 new photos that I took a few weeks ago... That night, me and my girlfriend got home around 4am just at the tail end of a blizzard that dumped nearly a foot of snow.  Since I wasn't feeling tired, I grabbed my tripod and camera and took off to see what I could learn about shooting in the cold. I learned to never go out in the cold without good gloves/mitts on. :P
